Which are the current major programs, objectives of NYEX activities?

The current major programs are the following: • Development of the current web-site to an interactive web-forum of scientific research training practices. • The Network will announce research problems for Virtual Teams and/or for an Internet competition. Partner-teams, partner-classes will be formed. Winners will be helped to know each other personally by mutual visits. The Network will form thematic nodal points in various countries focusing on special areas such as environment, biomedical research, material science, information technology, etc. • Student, teacher and scientific research training organizer exchanges will be established. • In 2006 a NYEX Board Meeting will be held. The meeting will evaluate the Network and existing practices, and extend organized research training efforts for high school students to even more countries. The Network will develop an annual international scientific conference of high school students accommodating natural sciences, life sciences, social sciences and humanities.
